How To Apply

Some universities allow students to apply online directly to AHA, while other universities require students to apply directly to their home campus study abroad office before applying to AHA.

If you attend one of the following schools, you must contact your study abroad office to obtain details on the process of applying for an AHA program:

Or, if you attend one of the above universities, and your study abroad office has accepted you for an AHA program, you can follow the instructions below.  Do not do this until your study abroad office has notified you to do so.


If your school was not listed above (or you have been cleared by your school to now create a profile), follow these steps:

1. Under the Program tab, click on the country and then the location of the site you wish to apply for.
2. Select the Apply Now button on the page.
3. This will prompt you to create an application and begin the process to study on an AHA program.
