WHERE WILL YOU BE?
Dún Laoghaire is a town on the coast about 7 miles (11km) south of Dublin. It is a vibrant exciting place; a mélange of the old and new.  Together with the splendid harbor and surrounding rolling hills, Dún Laoghaire is the ideal place in which to spend your time in Ireland. Both a Victorian and Modern town, Dún Laoghaire has played an important part in the development of Modern Ireland.  The town, with its thriving commercial centre, has the advantage of being
Ireland beside the sea offering magnificent coastal views. Within 20 minutes you can be in Dublin City by DART (suburban rail), or enjoy the peace and tranquility of the mountains.

WHAT WILL YOU STUDY?
The Dublin program offers a well-rounded, interdisciplinary approach to Irish studies. Classes are taught by local Irish faculty members and a visiting U.S. faculty member. Classes take place at the Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design, and Technology. You will study exclusively with other AHA students in this vibrant academic atmosphere.

Dates are subject to change.  Consult written program materials before purchasing airfare. Check with your study abroad adviser for specific deadlines on your campus.
