WHERE WILL YOU BE?
Surrounded by pre-Romanesque monuments, the Gothic cathedral of San Salvador, and the 400-year-old University of Oviedo, discover one of the most culturally significant regions in Spain. Hike, ski, or relax on the beach just a short trip from the city center. Experience the historic architectural sites as well as the contemporary music concerts, theater, and exhibitions. Language classes take place at the Curso de Lengua y Cultura EspaƱolas para Extranjeros (ELE) on the university campus. Immerse yourself in Spanish
studentslanguage, culture, and history.


WHAT WILL YOU STUDY?
Ideal for intermediate- and advanced-level Spanish students, this program appeals to students from many disciplines through curricula in history, literature, and art. Two summer language intensive
sessions offer you the opportunity to improve your vocabulary, grammar, and conversation skills.

Many campuses have their own application deadlines, which may be earlier
than the AHA deadline.  Check with your study abroad adviser to ensure that
your application materials are submitted by your campus deadline.
 
Late applications may be accepted on a case by case basis as feasible depending on program requirements, space availability and student preparedness.
